The best use of energy
In their practice, the judoka seeks the best use of physical and mental energy. This principle suggests applying to every problem the most appropriate solution: acting correctly at the right moment, using the partner’s strength and intentions against them. It encourages a constant and dynamic quest for perfection.
Mutual aid and mutual prosperity
In judo, individual progress comes through mutual help and through the union of our strength with that of others. The presence of the partner and of the group is necessary and beneficial to everyone’s progress.
The judoka’s grade is represented by a triple value
« SHIN », correspondant à la valeur morale,
« GHI », valeur technique,
« TAI », valeur corporelle.
Le « SHIN », cité en premier, donne seul le sens aux deux autres.
